Israel Air One Personal eVTOL Begins Full Flight Test】

Air's first full-scale eVTOL prototype has received airworthiness clearance and has begun flight testing. The Air One is an attractive winged two-seater manned multicopter designed for personal ownership and fun flying power for $150,000.

Date created

The Tel Aviv-based company is moving fast. The Air emerged from stealth nearly a year ago, debuting its full-scale prototype at the Kentucky Derby a few months ago, and test-flying some smaller-scale prototypes of its design. Now, the full-scale machine is in the air and testing is underway.

Aircraft type and shape

While it may look like a winged aircraft, or a lift-and-cruise eVTOL, it's actually an eight-prop coaxial multi-rotor with a slight twist in the form of two fairly raked wings. Without a dedicated forward propulsion system, this thing would fly on pitch like any other multirotor. It doesn't have an efficient flight mode that's entirely carried by the wings -- and actually doesn't have any control surfaces on the wings -- but when it's pitched fully forward at high speeds, the wings generate some lift to relieve props and powertrains. pressure.

Aircraft speed and battery capacity

The Air claims a top speed of around 250km/h and a cruising speed of around 160km/h. With a peak power of 771 horsepower and a maximum payload of 250 kilograms, Air says the battery can fly for about an hour and have a maximum range of about 177 kilometers.

aircraft weight

The 868kg full-scale prototype made its maiden flight on June 21 at a site in Megiddo, northern Israel.

Sales Quantity

Air says it has sold more than 150 of them and expects certification and first customer deliveries in 2024.

What is Computer Programming? Types of programming languages & programming jobs

What is Computer Programming? We all rely significantly on numerous software items that developers meticulously developed in today's environment. What exactly is computer programming though?   I'll define programming in this post and give examples of several programmers of various stripes. In addition, I'll offer a list of classes you may enroll in to begin learning how to code. Definition of programming A computer program is made up of code that is run by the computer to carry out certain tasks. Programmers wrote the code in this document.   Giving computers a set of instructions outlining how a program should be executed is the process of programming. To properly create computer programs, programmers must spend their whole lives studying a range of programming languages and tools.   In the beginning, programmers will create source code using an IDE or code editor. This is a group of computer programs written in a language that other programmers can understand. In order

What is Virtual Reality gaming (VR) & best game of virtual reality

VIRTUAL REALITY (VR) Virtual reality game A video game played with virtual reality (VR) equipment is referred to as a virtual reality game or VR game. The majority of virtual reality (VR) games focus on player immersion, generally using a headset or head-mounted display device and one or more controllers. To mimic a 3D environment, the headset generally places two stereoscopic displays in front of the user's eyes. Early VR experiments were undertaken in the 1980s by the video game industry, most notably with Mattel's Power Glove and Nintendo's Virtual Boy. Following the release of the Oculus Rift, the first consumer-ready VR device, in 2013, VR games quickly followed, including both new games created specifically for VR and current games modified for the VR technology. Half-Life: Alyx, a complete VR game created by Valve, was seen as the killer application for VR gaming, even if VR technology and games only saw modest growth for the rest of the 2010s. older VR games (1980s-
